Well…there it is…possibly the most random bunch of songs I’ve ever seen!  I could’ve gone to 40 but then I would’ve had to reveal the most hideous item at number 34 so decided 30 was enough!

These aren’t my most favouritest (excuse the made-up words) songs (of my whole 26 years) - some of them are just my borderline OCD shining through and others were just phases I went through, but there are several there that would make the “all time favourites” list that will come in the future!

Are there any that have surprised you?

It looks as though we may have had a setback

I’m still hopeful it’s only minor and temporary, but only time will tell.  Jamie is self employed and, with the way the economy is at the moment, has had no work for several weeks.  Unfortunately as Jamie becomes an honorary housewife (despite making every effort to find work) the world still turns and the bills still come rolling in! 

I blame this for my recent lack of writing inspiration as I don’t tend to be able write when I have things on my mind (this is probably more of a reason to write, but I find it impossible to dwell on the bad things in life and so would rather not post about them).

Anyway, this may have set us back a few months and so we may end up not being able to travel until towards the end of the year, which isn’t the end of the world but it is a bit disappointing.  Hopefully Jamie will be able to find some work soon and we’ll be back on our feet!  We are going to continue investigating for our travelling plans as one way or another we are definitely going, be it in 6 months or 12 months!!

Thanks to some helpful comments & emails I have decided to forget the plugin approach to my links page and do the work myself (a bit of hard (ok, not so hard) work never hurt anyone!).  If you want to be added to my links page just leave a comment or fill in the contact form and I’d be happy to oblige.  Also if you’d like a little blurb about your blog I’m happy to do that too!  God, I’m just so nice :-D  x

The Search is On…

For the past few days I have been searching high and low for a really nice links page plugin.  I’ve probably tried about 10-12 of the ones available on the easy upload bit on my Wordpress dashboard but I just cannot seem to find one I like.  they’re either too plain and simple and you can’t adjust fonts or anything to make it individual or they just don’t seem to sit right with my blog…or maybe it’s just me. 

Can Anyone Help Me?

This may be a little cheeky but I am relying on your good natures, kindness, anything really for a little helping hand (this is normally where I’d pull out my “because-I’m-a-girl” card hehe).  I know absolutely nothing about codes or HTML or any other 4-letter web-related abbreviation you might like to throw my way and so it’s not looking too likely that I’ll be able to solve the issue by myself.  I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a nice plugin to add a links page, or some HTML or something (whatever that means).

“What’s In It For Me” I Hear You Yell

Well, not only will I be your best friend for life (well, we could work on that) but I would give you a free of charge (as in I wouldn’t expect a link in exchange unless you thought enough of me to do so)  link on my new founded, fresh and funky links page (that you will help me to get obviously).  Also, you can live a happy and fulfilled life with the knowledge that you, yes you, have helped me - a mere baby to the blogging world - achieve my dream of a fantastic links page (again, all credit to you!).  Now, how does that sound?  Pretty great deal huh?? 

Well, even if it doesn’t sound like the best deal since 2 4 1 on Domino’s, I would be extremely extremely exuberantly incredibly unbelievably grateful to you (and if it’s possible I will add a little thank you message to you on the links page - and I  might even reveiw your blog, although I don’t know if I’d be any good at that last bit though).
